Hi, I’m Phil, a qualified personal trainer based in Upton, Poole (Dorset), working with clients both in my private gym and online. With over 25 years of fitness experience and a passion for helping others, I’m here to guide you toward achieving your health and fitness goals.Since 2018, I’ve coached hundreds of men and women, helping them transform their fitness, health, and overall well-being. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned gym-goer, I offer personalized coaching that really works—no fluff, just results.

My Journey: Mistakes, Lessons, and the Path to Success

Having trained for over two decades, I’ve made my fair share of mistakes. But each one taught me valuable lessons—lessons I now pass on to you, so you can avoid the same pitfalls and focus on what matters: building a stronger, healthier you.My years serving as a Royal Marines Commando taught me a great deal about resilience, discipline, and mental toughness—principles I bring into my coaching. Fitness is about more than just physical strength; it’s about building a mindset that can take on life’s challenges.

Family, Balance, and Holistic Coaching

Outside the gym, my partner (and best friend) Kelly, two daughters and family are my world. Like many of my clients, I understand the stress of balancing work, family, and personal health. That’s why my approach to coaching is holistic—I focus on creating sustainable habits that fit into your life, not the other way around. This is the key to long-term success.

LIFE OUTSIDE OF THE GYM

I’ve travelled to over 35 countries, been a professional wrestler on TV, earned a brown belt in Karate, and recently started training in Jiu-Jitsu. I’m a heavy metal enthusiast and an avid reader of philosophy, spirituality, and all things health and fitness. My wide range of interests keeps me grounded, and I believe they help me connect with people from all walks of life.
